While I’m happy with the change in direction, ie moving ownership down the line, I’m yet to figure out how to align rewards appropriately. If an employee is expected to own the work, then shouldn’t it be tightly coupled with the risks / rewards of the outcome? I don’t know how this can be done in larger / departmentalized organizations where the distance b/w effort and outcome becomes difficult to see let alone quantify and reward.
